Can you put an unbalanced object, like ball with one side heavier than the other,in the middle of a gyroscope and have it always be level? |

| | The simple answer is yes, however it's not a simple thing. In one application, with electrostatically supported gyroscopes it's NECESSARY to unbalance them, otherwise they are so stable that they can't be detected as they spin. The unbalance will produce a wobble, and how much wobble your gyro can withstand depends on a lot of other factors.
