I spent a number of years of my life pursuing the idea that a gyroscope could produce propulsion. The confusion was because friction in all the examples was too weak to detect. Everywhere I searched for the opposite reaction, I could not find it, and so I accepted that it did not exist. How wrong that was.
The physical laws of the universe seem strange to me. Why do they exist? How did they come to be.
A gyroscope is capable of reactions in an endless spiraling circle of near endless fractional degrees. Why then is all the motion and force contained within the boundaries and distances of its parts? Why is the center of balance incapable of moving regardless of all the motion, torque, and momentum? Why must it touch and an unattached bit of matter in order to move outside its environment?
We cannot answer why the universe is the way it is, but only what it is.
