Would there be inertia if I move the gyro along it's rotation axis? |

Would gyro make any resistive force if I push it parallel to it;s axis of rotation? |

If the gyroscope is moved/pushed parallel to its axis of rotation or parallel to its plane of rotation there will be no reaction.
The disc must be subjected to a radial acceleration whether it be in a vertical or horizontal direction to create a reaction, otherwise it will remain, just a spinning disc.

I read the description of gyro behavior.
It really reacts to turns.
